Bloober Team has delayed the Observer System Redux retail release by one week, where the game will now release later this month on 23rd July.
The dark cyberpunk thriller will launch in physical copies for the PlayStation PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. While we don’t know what caused the delay, it shouldn’t be much of a trouble for fans waiting for this game.
If you can’t wait for the physical edition of Observer System Redux, you can buy the digital version for the same price of $29.99. If you do wait for the physical edition, you will get a softcover art boot and the soundtrack with the physical disc version of Observer System Redux.
The year is 2084.
The future has turned out much darker than anyone could imagine. First, there was the Nanophage. A digital plague that killed thousands upon thousands of those who chose to augment their minds and bodies.
Then came the War, leaving both the West and the East decimated and shattered. With no one left to seize power, corporations took over and forged their own crooked empires.
You are a tool of corporate oppression. Feared and despised, you hack into the darkest corners of your suspects’ minds. You creep into their dreams, expose their fears, and extract whatever your investigation may require.
You are an Observer.
Last year, we reviewed the Xbox Series X|S version of Observer: System Redux in which we tried the new overhauled version of Bloober Team’s title and found it perfectly suited for the power of the next-gen consoles. With the power-hungry System Redux now heading to PS4 and Xbox One, it is worthwhile to wait and see how it performs on the previous generation of consoles that feature much less power than the modern consoles.
